Last week, my friends at the Central Virginia chapter of the American Marketing Association asked me to speak about voice assistants and content marketing. Well, that’s not entirely true. They did ask me to speak, and I was so jazzed about this topic that I nerdily and probably-too-enthusiastically talked it up until they said yes.
To be fair though, content marketing is a promising application for voice assistants that just isn’t getting the attention it deserves. Alexa’s flash briefing skills and Google Home’s routines and quizzes give you easy (not to mention fun) new ways to distribute your marketing content.
